A Bit About Me
Nicole is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with a Master’s of social work (MSW) from Loyola University of Chicago. Nicole has 8+ years of experience in the field working with all ages. She has worked in a hospital setting in various levels of care such as inpatient behavioral health, outpatient programs, and completing levels of care assessments. Nicole also has experience as a social worker in a law enforcement setting focused on helping integrate mental health informed care into daily duties of officers as well as connecting community members to resources.
Nicole works with adolescents, young adults, and adults. She assists clients in navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, addiction, autism, and other stressors. She utilizes evidence based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI). She approaches things from a person-centered lens to best meet the needs of the clients seeking support. She believes in providing a safe and healing space for her clients and hopes to help people understand themselves and their lives on a deeper level.
Outside of work, Nicole loves to spend time with her friends and family. She is likely reading a book in her free time and loves to bake!
Nicole is accepting new clients!
