A Bit About Me
Alexandria “AJ” Hummel is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with experience supporting children, teens, adults, and families. She earned her Master of Social Work from California State University, Northridge in 2019 and has specialized experience in crisis intervention, supporting military families, case management, and working with high-risk individuals and families.
AJ takes a strengths-based, client-centered approach, meeting clients where they are and tailoring therapy to their individual needs. She utilizes evidence-based practices including CBT, trauma-informed care, psychoeducation, emotion regulation skills, ADHD coaching, and therapeutic game play, while supporting clients in building and strengthening natural supports in their lives.
When not in the office, AJ enjoys finding time be with her 2 dogs, 4 kids and spouse. AJ’s an avid nature lover, doing anything outdoors including hiking and camping!
